When we first started cooking with local food, we kept running into the same problem.
We'd find a "seasonal" recipe, decide to make it, and realize halfway through the grocery list that half the produce wasn't even in season at the same time. (Why does any recipe call for fresh asparagus AND fresh tomatoes?!)
We had no idea what was actually in season when. And we couldn't find resources that made it easy to figure out.
So we figured it out ourselves. And this is the recipe collection we wish we'd had then.
